Black-Suit Spider-Man (Peter Parker):
---Super Strength, augmented even further by the symbiote
---Agility; Spider-Man excels at this normally, and the symbiote enhances it even more
---Can shoot webbing without need for webshooters
---Symbiote promotes aggression. Kind of like a game of Monopoly.
---Symbiote can restructure itself to form disguises
---Spider Sense detects nearby danger
---Black Cat finds this outfit so much hotter than the original that she made Spider-Man a regular, non-power boosting black costume after he rejects the symbiote.
---Crafty fighter
---Amusing to call him "BS Spider-Man"
---Vulnerable to sound and heat. Don't hire Parker to look after your toddlers in summer.
Venom (Eddie Brock):
---Physically stronger than the normal red-suited Spider-Man
---Capable of deflecting bullets
---Can shoot webs and wallcrawl like Spider-Man
---Due to the joining of the symbiote and Brock, refers to himself as "We." Wouldn't that be weird in Venom's personal life? How would you react if your date said "We love you. Will you marry us?" or called you in the middle of the night and stated "We're coming.."
---Venom possesses a more accurate Spider-Sense than Spider-Man and never triggers Parker's sense
---Can shoot tendrils out to attack. Or scratch his back when it itches
---Vulnerable to heat and sound. *Really* don't hire Venom to look after your kids. Ever.
Verdict: Black-Suit Spider-Man wins. The two have similar physical abilities, Venom perhaps winning in power and Spider-Man in speed, but Parker is a smarter opponent. If his suit's augmented powers didn't defeat Venom, his mind would likely expose the symbiote's weakness to heat or sound (though Parker would have to be out of range, or he too would get injured.) Thanks for reading!
My final thoughts: The moral of today's fight is.. superpowered lifeforms make for terrible babysitters.
Today in the life of a Jeremy: I desperately need a haircut. My hair is like that scene from the Santa Clause movie where Tim Allen tries to shave, and it all instantly grows back.
