Charmander Vs Agumon

Hi, Jeremy here with another Fabled Fight! Today, for our 11th post, I thought we could both revisit the past and move forward at the same time. We're having the Pokemon Charmander battle the Digimon Agumon. These are the 1st forms of previous battlers Charizard and MetalGreymon. Time for our brief analysis of each fighter and then the verdict!

 Charmander
--- Quick and capable of utilizing powerful fire attacks
--- Can use other elements to attack, like steel and rock
--- Somewhat solitary for a Pokemon
--- Said to die if flame on tail goes out. Yikes.
--- In the anime, one was named Zippo. That's silly.
--- Can increase power by raging when attacked

Agumon
--- Only a few moves, like Pepper Breath and Claw Attack
--- Capable of speaking English
--- Works well in a team
--- Once used a move called Baby Flame. That's sillier.

Verdict:
Charmander wins. Why? Well, short answer: Just trust me. Nerdy answer: Pokemon become stronger when they evolve, but even base forms can learn some of the best attacks. Contrastingly, Digimon receive a whole new set of stronger moves when they Digivolve. This means that most Digimon would end up stronger than Pokemon, but start off weaker. Agumon also has no water moves to weaken his foe. Our winner is Charmander.
Thanks for reading!

My final thoughts: Pokemon Vs Digimon battles are fun to create, and seem moderately balanced. There'll be more in the future.

Today in the life of a Jeremy: Helping a friend overcome depression. It's not easy, but hang in there!
